WEST TOPSHAM VERMONT 1893 COVER AND BILLHEAD FOR GREEN MOUNTAIN CREAMERY

Year:

1893
Vermont

Nice Columbian 2-cent stamp on this cover. West Topsham Creamery was changing its name and the old name is struck out on the envelope and letterhead and a handwritten Green Mountain is written in. Short note from Horace L. Watson, secretary and treasurer to John Sawyer, Waits River (great address!), Vermont. It reads: Treasurers first call for money for Creamery Stock Subscribed will by 50% of amount signed. Due at any time before June 1st, 1893 at Treas. office.
