Excellent penmanship in this three-page letter from Charles Ladd to his sister Charlotte. He is unhappy with his lot in life and includes a paragraph that Miss Adams died "thus you see another of your old schoolmates has departed". Easy to read. Early Portsmo postmark with PAID mark as well.
