It's a triple header. Cover originated in Althay NY and was addressed to South Norwalk. Enroute, it received a Watkins postmark on the flap side and then it received a South Norwalk Connecticut mark when the cover was forwarded to New York City. This is a must unusual item for dead post office cover collectors.

Full postmark. Clean cover. The Agawam Canal Company constructed and ran a large cotton mill (1000 spindles) in West Springfield. Agawam was the original town name of Springfield.

WORCESTER MASSACHUSETTS STAMPLESS FOLDED COVER FROM GODDARD & RICE TO NEW YORK CITY

Light but full Worcester postmark and red 5 rate on this stampless folded letter from Goddard & Rice to Hendrick Bros., New York City. Goddard & Rice was a prominent manufacturer of wire, principally barbed wire, in Worcester. No content. Great condition.

Small early stampless folded letter postmarked at station 23 Sailland (unable to find community location. needs further research). Note No. 42 center left of front page.  Apparently the correspondents numbered their letters so they would know if one was lost in transit.  The writer also references receiving No. 47 from the addressee.  Vertical mark running from middle top to bottom is the postage charge.
