Fresh stamp with almost four full margins. Bottom is trimmed close and finally into stamp design at right corner.  Left margin contains portion of adjacent stamp. Light Clintonville Dead Post Office cancel. Not sure which county this is from, so placing it in Clinton County rather than the more valuable Onondaga county. Note fragment enclosed. It says in part: "How shall I express to you my gratitude to God for his great mercy in that he has not regarded my unfaithfullness...".  Alas, there is no more of what must have been a very interesting letter.
