Brewster asks his friend how he likes tavern keeping.  He tells him "I finished the Latin reader the next day after you left and am now rereading it slowly and am now reading a little Virgil...about 15 lines a day and getting into some Algebra." He mentions numerous teachers and activities at school and mentions he plans to bring his young son to school with him next year.  Much more in this long letter.  Unfortunately, the cover is in poor condition.  There is a tear running through the light postmark
