Five letters written by M. H. Wells, two to her parents in Deerfield and three to her brother in Andover. As you can see from the sample scans, all are packed with news and views. Note that the paper used with the blue ink is lined...unusual for this era. All covers are in good condition with good postmarks. Note use of 18 3/4-cent postage rates. Also oval for five cent rate on one of the covers.
